Fuzzy math?

Joshua Claybourn's Domain: Meet the Numbers

But maybe not so...

This from my comment here.

On the budget, it is interesting to note that social security, at 510B is larger than defense at 429B and the rest of discretionary at 485B and that of the three, only defense has gone down (from 433B in the current year).  This table has all the facts.  The other docs are here.  Perhaps his math score was even lower than his language score?  But actually, if you look at Table S-12, it's clear the discretionary budget is increasing from 908 to 914, or 0.66% (the previous increase was 9.9%, but who's counting?)  However, Table S-2 clearly shows the discretionary budget going from 787 to 818, a 3.9% increase, as the table accurately shows.  Unless you include supplementals ... which have gone where?

Maybe someone else can clear this up...
