Bootable Linux CDs
Big Deal? Well, the point of these (from what I can tell) is that there is no installation. That means you download the ISO, burn the CD, stick it and and boot. It then loads up a running version of Linux to do something.
This is great if you just want to mess around with Linux a little know and then but don't need a multi-boot PC. Also easy to run on a laptop or whatever.
Another good use would be for running in Virtual PC since it can use ISOs directly. Download, run virtual PC, and bang! you have Linux running.
