What, no camera?
infoSync World : Vertu unveils new luxury handset collection
Why would anyone really want to buy a luxury phone when it doesn't even have such basic features as a 2 megapixel camera, SD card slot, or bluetooth? Especially when it MSRPs for something in the range of nearly $4000 USD.
Usually one of the reasons to get a luxury car is because it has features not found in other cars. And the other direction doesn't apply (meaning a feature in a cheaper car usually exists in the more expensive one -- usually in a better form).
Oh well... they must make money. The probably also sell in Robb's Report and such. ;)
