SPAM is good for you?
I missed this at some tech site because they had a picture of a can of spam and they were talking about health, so I just sort of assumed it was actually about eating low fat spam or something. Silly me. This actually makes sense. It's the basis behind millions of dollars of self help and weight loss audio tapes that you're supposed to listen to daily. This stuff pours salt on our guilt nerves -- and they really don't like salt.
People who were spammed about healthy eating and keeping active, tended to exercise and lose weight, according to the researchers at the University of Alberta.
