Mac Screen Auto Dimmer Is Driving Me Nuts
The iPhone has a feature where the screen can dim automatically depending on the light conditions. This same feature is on the new MacBook Pro (and probably on other ones, as well). However, it does not behave the same. On the iPhone it takes a while before it dims or brightens. On the MacBook Pro, though, it was instantly updated based on the lighting conditions. I could move a hand or my head and it would change. This effect is similar to an old movie that has uneven brightness while playing. Tired and frustrated with this, I turned it off. If there’s an option to have it’s effect delayed or smoothed over time I’d turned it back on. I couldn’t find anything about that, though.
