Amazon FPS Availability

200902052314.jpg

Good news for folks thinking about true micro-payment based services. Amazon FPS (Flexible Payment Services) is now in General Availability. This should mean that anyone can create simple to complex payment systems for any amount of payment to and from just about anyone. That's cool. Particulalry cool for a time when revenue from advertising might be down, though, is the ability to accept payments down even under a single penny. If you recall correct, a penny from every visitor would be equivalent to a $10 CPM (based on visitors, not views). That's pretty cool!

Read more about it at the AWS blog.
